Fukushima Berlin 2 (2014 5 min)
The film shows distance between Fukushima and Berlin. There are two protagonists. The one speaks about private story in Japan about catastrophe, the other one speak with historical approaches from Berlin.

Mr.S&Doraemon (2012 15 min)

There is Japanese animation „Doraemon”. He is cat-robot and can realize the people’s dream with his special tools. This is the traditional and most popular Japanese animation. A experimental film(2008) was made up with only doraemon’s houses without him and his family. After the catastrophe by the TSUNAMI in Japan caused a new power plant’s explosion in Fukushima at 2011, One might imagine the town without inhabitant in Fukushima. Then director Hikaru remembered that he made the film with the only DORAEMON’s houses at 2008 which is os similar to the situation of Fukushima’s catastrophe. Because the inhabitants can’t live there any more. The town is like a ghost town. Otherwise, he felt that his usual life was so important. Because Tsunami suddenly lost so many people’s life. That’s why he shot his life every day like a diary after 11.03.11. Through it, he made up the film Mr.S & Doraemon at 2012.

Das Strahlen (2014 10 min)

The film was made after FUKUSHIMA BERLIN 2 had been made. A protagonist is a german women.

Pursuing a lizard, she traveled to Mexico and she falls in love with Mexican guy. The content is mixed of her life, the radiation in Japan and sunshine which is so important for people. This film is constructed by a variety of association.

God and Father and Me (2008 36 min)

This is Hikaru’s first documentary film. He always thought what kind of Job does his father have, since he was child. There was a lot of discussions in family with mom and sister about father. What about does he think? What does he do? He gets income as healer in religion. This is regarded not as so popular Job in Japan, but as like a little bit curious, strange and doubt Job for Japanese people. Because a lot of Japanese don’t believe in a definite religion and they mayn’t talk about their religion. It’s things like a taboo. There may be a border in Japanese society. If people go over the border, the people must say something bad. So, his father went onto mountain to become a god. Why? Hikaru must have made sure what does he do there? and live alone or not whatever…

London Glasgow

My first trip to London was so elegant. But I think that the city is like Tokyo. So busy. This is not so ideal. I talked about it with my friend. Then I got small answer why I live in Berlin and here Berlin calm me. But my friend said that Berlin has really too slow time to spend. You may say like this as well. I think sometimes like it. Glasgow was also quite nice and slower than London. 

As I arrived at Glasgow, I was looking for my hostel. Then I entered to a gallery where i met with worker. He explained about the way to hostel. He was so kind. But interesting thing was that he said at first that your reservation's hostel was very famous to stay as a bad place!? It made me so terrible. But the hostel was not so bad. 

And more one bad thing happened. That was a place in airport where I enter to London through a control to check passport. I should have showed my pass, yes, off course, then he started asking my every life and private things. Why? I must have explained almost for 1 hour. It was so really terrible. 

Otherwise I saw Marlene Dumas at Tate modern in London. I like her paintings. 

I got some answers in order to travel to London and Glasgow, to speak about something about artwork with my friend. 

My trip was mostly lovely very nice. I will go to London off course again.

Shooting trip to Auschwitz

I visited Auschwitz to shoot my film.
I thought that I want to make film to be free from everything.
It's my hope. In order to be free, i wanna make Film.
The thing I thought doesn't concern with Auschwitz.
I musst remember my passion to make something.

We met in the front of the museum MOCAK in Krakow. He is quite young. But we can talk about everything for a short time. I took the photos on the bridge.
We meet somewhen more one time in krakow. Because I come back to the place somewhen. See you soon.

TO AMSTERDAM

I went to Amsterdam. My visit was so awesome. For example, i saw the some exhibitions which ware made by MELANIE GILLIGAN  in DE APPEL(art center), by tony ausler in old church, by Bill Viola in new church(?), was photo's exhibition in FOAM and was about prostitution as well.

The exhibition in Foam | Photography Museum Amsterdam was quite nice. The quality was so high. 

So i have my report here that i stopped to study at the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF in Germany. I don't have any remorse more about it. I rethink what i do here or in Japan. But one thing is same. I make FILM. I don't decide what i do from now this year. Anyway, it will be nice to do a new thing.

なんか新しいこと

今やっていることを少し書きます。

編集、、。
そう、現在映画大学で編集学科に通っているのですが、、もう一度何故ここに入ることになったのかを、自分の中で整理したいと思います。30代なので、他の夢実現にむけて、生活をちゃんとしていきたいと願って、、将来につながる何か、、。映像を作ることで生き残らないと、、と言うことで。

それで、今やっている編集が、16mmで撮影された素材です。
テーマは、、
MMA(総合格闘技)。
その中で右手が奇形で半分ぐらいまでしかない戦士が、戦闘を繰り広げる。彼は、しかもすごく強い。体には数えきれないタトューが。
この人物のドキュメントを編集しています。

この仕事結構面白い。今までとは違って視点をまた発見するチャンスになりそうな予感です。しかも、今まで自分が撮影したことも興味もなかった素材に出会える。

と、そんなこんなで今相当もろもろなことに追い込まれていますが、、、編集の講義で先生が言うことは、編集マンが行うのは、クリティックとドラマとリズムを作り出すこと。

自分の個人的な映像制作の課題は、そのドラマをどう練りだしていくか、だったわけで。いや、それ以外にも様々な要素を映像は持っているけれども。

と、、いろいろな視点でやおっぱり面白い。

(一本の映画を編集する仕事ってすごく感動的なことであると言えるかもしれません、そして、いつかベルリン映画祭に出品されるような映画に関わって、、、とか、一瞬素敵な夢を考えました。でも、いつか自分の映画作品を作れる日が来たらいいなぁと思っています。そのためにも、今は修行です。まずは、ドイツ語をあるレベルまで、そしたら、英語を！3年目のドイツ語は結構わかるけれど、まだまだ、これから。。)


ところで、毎週水曜日にうちの授業でモンタージュの学生と監督で一つの映画を見てディスカッションを行っている。ほとんどが、ドキュメンタリーで今回はうちの先生が関わった作品 „1989"。

最近の動きはこんな感じでした。


ところで、最近少し気になっていることがあります。
それは、、Multi kultiという言葉。
これは、マルチカルチャーの略なのだが、、、。
このベルリンには、むちゃくちゃな数の外国人が住んでいて、文化の多様性が半端ではない。それを表すいい言葉なのだが、、、そのマルチカルチャーの中にあって、そもそも人間が根源的に共通している何か石っていうか、足というかそういうものってあるのかなぁとか、それか、共通感覚ってあるのかなぁとか、そういうことを少し考えています。

明けましておめでとうございます。

ベルリンへ、9月1日に。

今日は、2014年8月27日(水)です。
この3ヶ月の日本での滞在は本当にいい時間でした。
家族の大切さや生まれ育った街に自分が育てられたことを実感したり、高校の同級生に会ったりして、、、本当に美しい時間だった。その部分を映像にとらえることはしませんでした。ひたすら楽しむことに浸ることにしました。

この自分の目の前の光景や、子供たちや、犬や、家族や、山々を見ることができないと思うと、何故わざわざ外国に行く必要があるのか、と思ってしまいます。やっぱり僕は日本またこの場所が好きです。

外国へ行く目的は、
ドイツにいるときは、まだ現在言葉を話し始めて間もない子供のような状態であり、自己の意見がはっきりとしていないからです。
ドイツにいるときは、自分が今まで日本で培ってきた映像感覚がくるいます。本当に一体何をしたかったのか、それをこの場所で再発見したいと思います。
自分にとって、映像表現のどこが魅力だったのか、、それを再びはっきりと感じたいと思います。

なんだかよくわからないけれど、最近誰かに会いたいとか話したいという欲求がすごく薄いです。それはどうしてなんだろう。そして、とても孤独な感覚がここにあります。目の前の様々なものに恐れている感じがあります。それはもしかしたら、外国にいたとき、外に出るのが怖くなっていたときと、すごく近いです。それを超えるためにも、これから、ドイツ・ベルリンで頑張ってきたいと思っています。

コンラッドヴォルフテレビ映画大学、、長い名前です。ここの学生を30でやることになりました。頑張ります。
